DECIMATION - OUTLAWS AND LAWMEN

Iā€™m excited to announce that the next release in the Decimation game series is Outlaws and Lawmen and is now available for OPEN PLAYTESTING!

Unlike my previous releases, Decimation - World War II and Decimation - Kingdoms and Empires, Outlaws and Lawmen is specifically designed as a traditional tabletop role-playing game system.

Players take on the role of a post American Civil War outlaw, wanted for anything from bank robberies, cattle rustling, or murder or a Lawman tracking down and bringing such bad men to justice - Dead or Alive.

Players decide up front whether they want to walk on the bad side or good side of the law and then live that destiny to the fullest with progression systems that bolster lethality in gunfights and brawling and greater success for Action, Discipline, and Trait checks. The Old West is an often romanticized period of American history, but the opportunity to make a name for yourself became the dream and hope of a melting pot of cultures, nations, and peoples sparked by the Homestead Act of 1862. Although the game is set at the end of the American Civil War in 1865 in terms of firearms and technology, you can run games in any period post black powder up to the end of first World War in 1918 if you wish with no system modifications needed.

An open combat playtest is now available at the below links.
